Part of my job (well, okay, all of my job) is being in lessons and helping the students to access the lesson to their full potential. Today, as I do every other Monday, I was in a Year 8 RE lesson where the lesson title was 'What is Christianity?' I remember these lessons well from… Continue reading Learning to…

The Need for a Tangent Flag
There are a couple of things I could write about today. I could write about leading a Bible study (something I did yesterday) or I could write about how just one person can make a seemingly terrible day become okay again. In reality, I know I will probably not write about either of these topics… Continue reading The Need for a Tangent Flag
No Longer Slaves
There is a worship song that I particularly like. It's called No Longer Slaves by the powerhouse couple that is Jonathan and Melissa Helser. They have written some of the best worship songs in history. If you want to take a listen to this song (which I highly recommend), check out this official lyric video: No… Continue reading No Longer Slaves
He is Risen! | Dear Me
Dear Me, I think this is going to become a regular bloggy thing. Today, this blog is positive. And that is a very good thing indeed. First things first Happy Easter. Jesus is alive! He paid the ultimate sacrifice and paid the ransom for us - "For God so loved the world..." Today you,… Continue reading He is Risen! | Dear Me
Trust in the Lord our God
He right, and He is true. He is a faithful God. It might not seem it at times but He does not wish us harm. He loves us so much that He sent His only Son, our Brother to die for us. Having faith and trust in God is the most amazing thing because He doesn’t let you down.
The Ramblings of a Loved Dog Sitter | Day Four
Tuesday August 4th. I am feeling extremely loved today. And that is because I got Skyped into the Bible study I was missing out on, it was fabulous. Obviously, it wasn't as good as being there in person but getting to look at God's word with my Brothers and Sisters was amazing. I totally needed… Continue reading The Ramblings of a Loved Dog Sitter | Day Four
The Ramblings of an Exhausted Dog Sitter | Day Three
Monday August 3. 8 magpies, 4 teas, 3 walks, 2 phone calls and one bunny rabbit later, day three of dog sitting is coming to a close. Nothing that exciting happened today, but I am really beginning to feel highly isolated out of town with no one to talk to. Writing these blogs is probably… Continue reading The Ramblings of an Exhausted Dog Sitter | Day Three
It’s not all Sunshine and Rainbows | Hebrews 10 encouragement
It is my prayer that you know you are loved, forgiven and a son/daughter of God the everlasting Father. It is my prayer that the Holy Spirit will strengthen you in whatever you are going through. It is my prayer that you will know Jesus Christ lives within you and He will never leave you. It is my prayer that you will know and understand, even slightly, the unmeasurable love of God.
Walking and Thinking | Remembering God’s Love
I don’t have a right to feel unloved because the greatest Father of them all loves me. I am not unwanted because God created me, Jesus died on the cross for me. I am not out of place as God placed me here to fulfil his purpose. I am not a nuisance because God made me in His image and I highly doubt He’d create a nuisance.
It’s not a feeling, it’s an action | Forgiveness
I’d like to tell you a story. A tale that has taken a long time to find it’s ending, but with its ending sparks a new beginning. No, I’m not talking about my journey to faith. No, I’m not talking about starting the university walk. I’m talking about something much more important, much more difficult. Much more personal.
